Toolset
Times move fast in the world Learning Design - especially with the unstoppable evolution of AI. Here are some of the tools I use on a regular basis (I'm always researching new tools).
Articulate 360
Incorporating Storyline and Rise for eLearning content creation
Adobe Captivate
Articulate's main competitor - it's always been a neck and neck battle between these two. Currently, I still believe Articulate is ahead with its AI feature set.

Evolve
Now owned by Intellum, it's more structured than other eLearning tools but still, in my opinion, visually limited and very similar to Articulate's Rise.
Adobe Creative Suite
Tools such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator are still put to good use. Newer AI products such as Firefly are also great!
Vyond
A great animated scenario creation video tool. Although with the advent of tools such as Veo 3, Vyond will need to up its game.

invideo
An AI mix of stock and generative video creation. Because it can utilize stock video it can often be a safer bet in terms of accuracy.
Synthesia
Great for talking head style AI gen video content
HeyGen
Has a similar concept to Synthesia but has newer features such as realtime AI gen video reponse and podcast format abilities.

ChatGPT
The classic LLM. It is constantly improving.
Midjourney
One of the OG image creating AI tools. It's recent foray into video gen has been widely applauded. I very much enjoy using this tool.
Veo 2/3
Veo 3 is cutting edge AI talking video - and with a price to match. One to watch.

Unity Engine
I've used customized builds of U.E. to add learning experiences to VR and AR design projects.
